| Kostal Ireland (Limerick) - JUNE 2007 - Purchased G1L(S) with Classified/Job Card Dispenser and Cards. ~ |
"We are very pleased with 'Grippit UK' . |
| Guildford Borough Council - JULY 2006 - Purchased G1L(M) with Posts and Extras. |
"Our requirement was for notice board for public use at an outdoor village location. Preferably this was to be of a design and size to match a board supplied some years earlier to the Parish Council. This requirement was met in full by GRIPPIT, who had in fact supplied the original board to the Parish Council, albeit whilst trading under a former name. The company was very flexible in approach and produced a modified display board to closely match the dimensions of the existing board at a very competitive price. Delivery was made on time, to specification, with the packaging of the highest standard ensuring that the board was received in pristine condition. It was very easy to assemble and install and is now in constant use by village residents. All in all an excellent value for money service and I have no hesitation in recommending the company to prospective customers." |
Pentewan Sands Ltd (CORNWALL) - JUNE 2006 - Purchased Double G3L(L) with Posts and Extras. |
"We purchased a grippit double size board for use at our holiday park in Cornwall. It is well designed, offers protection against the elements and came in close to bomb proof packaging. I had concerns about the Grippit system, but these were soon allayed as the system makes drawing pins and tape things of the past! It was easy to construct and came with 4 sets of keys. All in all a first class purchase." |
| Greenbank Lane Allotments (LIVERPOOL) - MAY 2006 - Purchased 2 x G3L(M) with Posts and Extras. |
"The notice boards at our allotment site are a real asset. Not having to use pins is really great and the notices look so neat as they are lined up. And it doesn’t matter what the weather is like, they still look pristine. Having the colour choice was also great as the moss green really looks smart, and to top it off having our logo on top really gives an excellent finish. We’re now running a classified ads section here for plot holders and this is a really well used notice board. The quality of this product has really upped the game as far as notice boards are concerned!" Thank you Grippit |

THE SUN - Newspaper - 8th SEPT 2006 - " Drawing pins cause cancer peril " |
TEACHERS are battling deadly asbestos diseases caught from sticking pupils’ work on classroom walls with DRAWING PINS. Watchdogs warned yesterday that the pins can release lethal fibres into the air in asbestos-riddled schools. Education chiefs in Gateshead and Durham have agreed compensation payouts to two staff who breathed in asbestos. Seven more cases are pending across the North East, where asbestos remains a cancer hazard in many schools. Kevin Walkin, of the Health and Safety Executive, confirmed: “Pinning work to walls or ceilings may release asbestos fibres.” Mick Lyons, of teachers’ union the NASUWT, said: “We’re looking at a timebomb.” LINK1 - LINK2 - LINK3 - LINK4 - LINK5 - LINK6 - LINK7 - LINK8 |
| THE INDEPENDENT - Newspaper - 13th SEPT - "Schools get asbestos warning" |
The Health and Safety Executive is stressing the danger of releasing asbestos fibres when a teacher pins notices or a pupil's work on a wall or ceiling. The National Union of Teachers had urged the HSE to issue guidance after one of its members was said to have died as a result of fibres being released in this way. |
